SPAGYRICS

is an ancient alchemical practice rooted in the principle of Solve et Coagula — to separate and to reunite.

The word Spagyrics comes from the Greek Spao (σπάω – to draw out, separate) and

Ageiro (ἀγείρω – to gather, bring together).

This etymology reflects its core: a transformative cycle of breaking down and elevating the parts of nature to reveal a deeper whole.

The principles of a plant, or organic material, are separated, liberated, purified, and brought back together in a more complete form.

In Spagyria, every step of the process reflects the laws of nature.

A reflection of the relationship between the microcosm and macrocosm.

Practiced as a path of devotion and study for centuries - it’s roots stretch back to Egypt and it’s threads weave through ancient medicine, astrology, and sacred cosmology.

Spagyrics is a spiritual science. It is a form of alchemy that honors the body, soul, and spirit of the plant—and, in turn, of the person working with the plant.

In Spacyric Alchemy, all living beings contain three philosophical principles -

Sulfur - Soul Qualities

Mercury - Spirit Qualities

Salt - Body Qualities

While these principles are symbolic metaphors, they also serve as a map to natural living processes.

By separating, purifying, and reunifying them, we unlock a deeper expression of the plant’s intelligence.

Spagyrics, for me, is a practice shaped over time—through study, devotion, and direct relationship with the medicines themselves.

Spagyrics today can be approached in many ways. My practice is aligned with a more traditional approach—one that prioritizes direct relationship to the materials and a deeper study of the theory over speed, quantity, or simplification.

Moksha bridges that gap—offering access to these preparations rooted in a process I know and trust.

At this stage, my work in the lab is devoted to learning—developing technical skill, deepening my understanding of spagyric theory, and building a more intimate relationship with the plants and fungi I work with.

Moksha is committed to offering preparations only when they are made with the level of precision, care, and lived understanding this tradition requires.

While I am actively practicing the preparation of Spagyric remedies, these works are not yet offered through Moksha.

The remedies I currently share are produced by my teacher, Indio Gallo, whose decades of devotion to this craft are reflected in the depth, refinement, and quality of his medicines.

I study through ongoing immersion with Kermes Spagyric and Escola de Espagiria, working within their laboratories in Indonesia and Brazil. These medicines are not distributed internationally, making them rare to access outside of where they are created.
