“Spagyrics is... Alchemy. Philosophy. Science. Egyptology. Chemistry. Medical Astrology. Astronomy. Mythology. Phototherapy. Mathematics. Fermentation and Distillation. It is Art.”

SPAGYRICS
is an ancient alchemical practice rooted in the principle of Solve et Coagula — to separate and to reunite.
The word Spagyrics comes from the Greek Spao (σπάω – to draw out, separate) and
Ageiro (ἀγείρω – to gather, bring together).
This etymology reflects its core: a transformative cycle of breaking down and elevating the parts of nature to reveal a deeper whole.
Through this process, the principles of a plant, or organic material, are separated, liberated, purified, and brought back together in a more complete form.
In Spagyria, this purification process happens in seven steps that make up and mirror the laws of nature.
Practiced as a path of devotion and study for centuries - it’s roots stretch back to Egypt and it’s threads weave through ancient medicine, astrology, and sacred cosmology.
Spagyrics is a spiritual science. It is a form of alchemy that honors the body, soul, and spirit of the plant—and, in turn, of the person working with the plant.
In Spacyric Alchemy, all living beings contain three philosophical principles -
Sulfur - Essential Oil - Soul
Mercury - Alcohol - Spirit
Salt - Minerals - Body
While these principles are symbolic metaphors, they also serve as a map to natural living processes.
By separating, purifying, and reunifying them, we unlock a deeper expression of the plant’s intelligence.
While this website reflects my love for art and creative expression, the heart of Moksha isn’t performance or trend — it’s practice.
Since returning from my 2024 studies in Indonesia, I’ve been deepening my practice through study group sessions with Kermes Spagyria and personal connection with my teacher’s medicines. This chapter has shown me aspects of this art that could never surface if my aim were simply to sell these potions.
I’ve been experimenting quietly—applying these principles to fungal species I’ve come to know through my mycology work. When I return from Brazil in 2026, I’ll begin offering Spagyric remedies made by my teacher, Master Indio Gallo, a practitioner of over 40 years.
Eventually, I hope to produce complete, true Spagyric quintessences and tinctures of my own—but I plan to take my time in the process. My intention is to carry this knowledge in integrity, and share it when the path feels ready to open.
